» Intergenerational workshops of writing

Intergenerational workshop of writing in primary schools and rest-homes of the Pays de Bray.

Every year, a theme is chosen: in 2011/12, the children and old people  

8 participants:

- the rest-home “Bois Joli” of Grandes Ventes with the primary school “les Feuillantines” of Grandes Ventes.
-the local hospital of Gournay-en-Bray with the primary school of Ferrière-en-Bray
-the rest-home “Jardins de Gournay” of Gournay-en-Bray with the primary school of Elboeuf en Bray.
-the residence “Charles Ferrant” of Neufchâtel en Bray with the primary school “Saint Jacques” of Neufchâtel en Bray.

There, the children discover the pleasures of writing, in the form of play of words, acrostics, charades and riddles. Some of them write small plays, and others learn a song. For the elderly people, these workshops are an opportunity for them to take up with the words, the paper and the writing. If different but nevertheless so close, both generations meet during these workshops, exchange, share their lived, their history, and their thoughts.

Unforgettable moments for all!
A closing afternoon of these workshops of writing takes place every year in june and allows all the participants to meet in conviviality.

 

» A partnership with the Heritage Foundation

A partnership for the development of the heritage of the Pays de Bray

By associating their skills, the ACTPB and the Heritage Foundation, Delegation of Seine Maritime intend to lead joint actions in favor of the development of the heritage of the Pays de Bray.

Concretely, the ACTPB will be in charge of informing the Heritage Foundation of the projects susceptible to obtain the Label to which it would have the knowledge. Considering its knowledge of the baryon territory, it will step in on the location of sites and will communicate widely on the helps of the Heritage Foundation.

Here is a concrete example of partnership between the ACTPB and the Heritage Foundation:
The ACTPB spotted in 2008 an initiative of heritage restoration premises on the municipality of Neufchâtel-en-Bray which intends to start works to save the Chapel Sainte-Radegonde that theatens to collapse. The Heritage Foundation accompanies this project to which the first stage consisted in the clearing of materials and in the confortement of the building.
